Your Lagoon Adventure
The Aitutaki Lagoon Explorer operates on demand from Rarotonga, departing from Rarotonga Airport at 11am and returning at 5:20pm.
Flight time is fifty minutes on our Embraer EMB 110 Bandeirante. Please only bring cabin-sized baggage (maximum 7 kgs) as checked bags are not included. Reef-safe sunscreen and other liquids larger than 100 ml are permitted on domestic flights.
On arrival at Aitutaki Airport, you will be transferred by 'le truck' to O'otu Beach to begin the Titi-Ai-Tonga Half Day Cruise (4 hours) aboard the 21-metre Polynesian style catamaran Vaka Titi-Ai-Tonga.
Vaka Titi-Ai-Tonga has a cash bar, onboard toilets, and access is easily negotiated for people with physical challenges and wheelchair users.
Explore several motu (small islets) such as Akaiami, Moturakau, our snorkelling spot, and the iconic One Foot Island, where you can get your passport stamped.
Included in the tour price:
- Return flights from Rarotonga to Aitutaki with 7kg cabin baggage allowance only
- Transfers to and from Aitutaki Airport

This tour caters to customers who wish to take a day trip from Rarotonga, returning on the same day. You can join the Titi-Ai-Tonga Half Day Cruise departing O'otu Beach in Aitutaki at 12pm. To join the cruise from Aitutaki, please book the Titi-Ai-Tonga Half Day Cruise at NZ$199 per adult, NZ$99 for children aged 5 to 11 years, and infants / children up to 4 years free of charge.
